We are happy to be reinstating our discount agreement with Brussels Airlines!

If you book a Brussels Airlines flight using the information below, you could get a substantial discount on your airfare, as well as access to other "perks" like extra baggage allowance and access to the Brussels Airlines lounge at the airport.

What 's involved:

Advantages and conditions - the below applies to humanitarian airfares only.
  • Discounted cost. Access to the Global Humanitarian Program: discounted, unrestricted, flexible and refundable fares to and from Dakar via Brussels. You can combine any Brussels Airlines, United, Air Canada, Lufthansa, Swiss or Austrian flight. Currently, there are daily flights between Brussels (BRU) and Dakar (DSS) operated by Brussels Airlines. You fly to/from/via Brussels Airport, a Star Alliance hub in Belgium, the heart of Europe. Smooth 1-stop connections from New York, Washington, Chicago, Toronto, Montréal and hundreds of other cities worldwide.
  • Luggage. 2X23kg checked luggage and 12kg hand luggage on Brussels Airlines-operated flights.
  • Flexible tickets. Date changes are free of charge and subject to availability of the same booking class. The refund fee is 50USD. Additional service fees apply for date changes and refunds.
  • Pay by credit card. Payment by credit card or invoice is possible until 45 days before departure.
  • Frequent Flyer rewards. Standard frequent flyer accrual applies (Miles&More/Star Alliance).
  • Lounge access. For all journeys departing in the US and Canada (all other journeys are excluded) complimentary lounge access is foreseen in Brussels for your in- and outbound journey. Your travel agent will send you e-vouchers together with your tickets.
For the six participating carriers, this agreement guarantees you the lowest fares with the best flexibility. In line with the Mercy Ships Airline Ticket Refund policy, no standard, non-flexible fares will be offered.

If you are calling Brussels Airlines directly to schedule flight, they have a US number but BE PATIENT, call well in advance, they are very helpful but not everyone can book your flight so it takes a few attempts and a few days to get it sorted out. They were also 150dlls cheaper then Raptim with the same perks, although Raptim responded immediately and where very nice! This was my experience. Hope it helps. ☺️

    Hi Heather

Do any other airline participate in the discount for travel to Guinea?

    Hi Joseph Park‍,

Sorry, I clearly missed this! By using the discount, you will have access to the Global Humanitarian program, with access to discounted, unrestricted, flexible, and refundable fares to and from Conakry via Brussels. You can combine any Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa, Swiss, or Austrian flight (members of Star Alliance).
